The walk gets then serious as you rise ever higher, with breathtaking views of the western side of Lough Léin as the highest mountain in Ireland, Carrounthuatill, comes into focus in the distance.

Once you reach the summit you'll see spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, with Dingle Peninsula off to in the distance, and Killarney National Park spread out beneath your feet.
