Join us on a thrilling guided virtual walking tour to the top of Strickeen Mountain, some 1,5000 feet high, on the edge of Killarney National Park in County Kerry.

As you steadily climb the zig-zag paths, Richard will introduce the rugged landscape and the series of glacial lakes near the Gap of Dunloe.
As you ascend higher, Richard will point out the old turf road used for harvesting peat from the bog on the side of Strickeen Mountain. The walk gets then serious as you rise ever higher, with breathtaking views of the western side of Lough Léin as the highest mountain in Ireland, Carrounthuatill, comes into focus in the distance.
Once you reach the summit you'll see spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, with Dingle Peninsula off to in the distance, and Killarney National Park spread out beneath your feet.
